What We Believe

There are exploited women in every city in the world. We pass them daily on our way to work, school, or nights out with our friends. They cry out for the same things that we do: love, acceptance, safety, respect. They have a voice but for too long we had walked by, unable to hear it.

Listening first.

Knowing little about the needs of these women, and even less about what we could do to help, we decided that we could learn a lot by simply listening.

It did not take long to discover what their true needs were. They needed medical assistance, a safe place, and real, honest relationships.

We are committed to:
    Life-giving relationships.

Restoration of the value and purpose inherent in every life. We believe that true satisfaction comes from knowing who we are first, and fulfillment from being who we are created to be.

Long-term, not short-term, solutions. We recognize that complexities of human problems require committed individual efforts

Recovery happens everyday.

Recovery happens incrementally, not overnight. These women require consistent love, affirmation and attention over the course of many months, or even years, but the growth and change that we see everyday reminds us that new life if always possible.
